IT'S NOT KOTOR 3! It is not a sequel to the storyline of KOTOR2. This is simply Star Wars: The Old Republic, it's an MMORPG. And if you're intending on having 2 different characters, it's P2P, so you'll have to probably pay double

This is only if you wish to have two accounts. Having characters on different servers is usually standard for most MMORPGs. I would also assume that there are multiple character slots per server.

Whatever, I'm staying as one character, I enjoy the story part of it so I just wanna focus on one

Ugh I like the story part too, but, with the case of when I played Star Wars Galaxies, I would always get interested in something else when i got half way done or started with what I was doing
