CoD was good, they played out the WWII genre and when they launched MW it changed the what people thought a modern shooter was. CoD today is a washout they've have used the same engine and game elements since MW. The maps and game elements are so easily exploited. Point being CoD WAS a good game franchise. Battlefield is poised to take over the maket DICE has spent the last 4 years and two games perfecting the engine for a proper battlefield 2 sequel, not simply running the same engine with the same game elements re-painted to fit this games story. Battlefield 3 WILL be the CoD killer.

Well since you asked..... I have to concur with Jango.
I have loved me some COD, but I am not feeling it with black ops like I did with COD4 or MW2. The latter were like swbf2: had to play every chance I got, gave up opportunities and sleep to get my game on... black ops goes in when I have a little time.
I'm very much looking forward to bf3.

Although With Battlefield 3's new engine, the system specs will probably be very high. That being said I am very much looking forward to BF3. :gun_bandana:
I also really liked the teamplay element in Battlefield 2. Battlefield 2 servers are still quite popular.

I need to change my statement, I just tried COD Black Ops and have to agree with Hass, very disappointing. The previous COD are great and I prefer playing them. Black Ops is looking like it's not worth the money I spent. It is entertaining but seems like a step back than a step forward.

COD 4 was the peak, in my opinion. It looks like Battlefield is going to be snatching the lead away from COD. Hell, it was already considered a contender when BC 2 came out, and with BF3 CoD is about to get blown out of the water.
