Anyone play Age of Mythology?

sorry corpse, but i'm a little tired....and there is more to come.
I had to make a Blog on a book review, i chose a book double or even triple the sise of others....LOTR...
So my blog was going good, it had to be finished by tomorrow.
Because the parts of my blog were messed up in the wrong order i deleted my published blog, and went back to the saved parts to upload them

SURPISE!!!! i deleted my entire blog on a 600 page book....
So i have to start over and finish it by tomorrow......

That's why I always make a copy of everything; with large papers/essays/work I even make at least 2 copies.
One is always smarter later, as they say.

Now to be on topic... I haven't played Age of Mythology, but I played a little (3 hours max) AoE3 with a friend.
The most recent game that resembles them which I play is Shogun 2 Total War. Tactics has the largest effect in determining the outcome of a battle and highly detailed.
I would recommend it as an alternative to AoM or AoE 2&3.
