I might consider it if it had online gameplay. I just hope they don't mess around with the jedi mechanics, the combat settings in SWBF 2 is probably my favorite for any game I've played.

jedi mechanice is archaic IMO. They could try to do something like in SWTFU but without stupid way of doing combos and solve it in other way. I mean, it was related to clickin dofferent combinations of buttons and it was really not intuitial.

I just hope it is a good game. I'm already very dissapointed with swtor not having many of the features that star wars galaxies had. Talking about that subject, it is a real shame it had to get old and that sony's update ruined the game!

This video clip is some gameplay footage to the Star Wars: First Assault. In this clip, you can see stormtroopers and rebels battling across various Star Wars locales, like the desert planet Tatooine. It's very reminiscent of multiplayer mode in a first-person shooter like Call of Duty or Battlefield or Lucas' own Star Wars: Battlefront.

The video shows action in both first- and third-person. We don't know if that's a third-person mode or just clips from a replay (or footage designed specifically for this trailer). You can also see some of the game's guns, attacks, and special abilities. Enjoy it while it lasts!

That looks terrible...im tired of games trying to be so futuristic with super laser guns and things flying everywhere around your screen. SWBF2 is a simple yet fun game where the only units that you can click and hold with pretty much suck. The rest of the units require you to aim every shot, and there really aren't any places where a player can camp and rack up kills. SWBF2 is very unique, and i have yet to play a game that is even remotely similar to it (if you know of such a game, please tell me). There are so many FPS games that are basically clones of each other, and i definitely do not want a hint of them in the next star wars game, whatever that ends up being.
Say no to click and hold gaming!
