Zeitgeist: The Movie

Postby Draigun » Sun Jun 02, 2013 6:47 am

I recently watched a very intriguing documentary about the similarities between religion, the 9/11 conspiracy theory (backed up with factual evidence), and economic corruption. If you want to find out the reasoning behind why our world is so corrupt, this will offer you a good foothold.

The documentary film can be viewed on this forum right here:

Now, I realize that there are individuals on this forum that do believe in a religion. The purpose of this documentary is not to insult other religions (especially Christianity), but rather to highlight the consistencies. I'm curious to see other's post on this matter, and how they feel after watching this documentary. As for the 9/11 conspiracy theory, the documentary does a great job on explaining why it was supposedly an orchestrated attack. They back this up with real, concrete evidence, so it cannot be ruled out.

Sources/evidence for the film can be found here.

This movie has been around a while and shot through the internet a few years ago.

This link examines the movie in detail also so it might be worth reading it before/after, should you decide to watch the movie:

As I mentioned the movie has been around a while so it's not new and there's been plenty of discussion on the net for sometime now.

Corruption occurs naturally throughout all organizations. However to say that our world that our world is very corrupt now is just such a silly thing to say. Corruption has become so very low compared to ages past that it's honestly astonishing to see how things have progressed so quickly in the last century. Religion has also been heavily losing in literally every first world, western country. Even the most religious of the first rate nations, the United States, saw Protestants lose their majority in just under 20 years. Not to mention that the most powerful religion in the world, the Catholic Church, has been busy bleeding members like crazy and losing the fight on same-sex marriage among other things. Which in the case of religion is [m'kay] astonishing, but awesome!

As for the 9/11 conspiracy, it's very hard to recreate true concrete evidence simply because no one's going to be able to recreate the exact conditions that occurred. In practical terms the closest thing that has had verified results would be slamming planes into aircraft carriers/battleships. And we know that this was incredibly effective, even if the Japanese were using tiny little zeroes to puncture steel that was significantly thicker than was in the WTC. Honestly just watch battle footage of the kamikaze attacks during World War 2 and the corresponding holes torn into warships whose steel armor is as thick or thicker than the WTC (which wasn't even a sheer steel structure, seeing as only the core of the structure was steel, the supporting columns were made of lighter materials.) Then think of the difference in force generated by a lightweight plane such as the A6M Zero with a 500 lb bomb compared to a Boeing 767 capable of 100,000 lbs of force just in thrust. Combined with the shape of the 767, which is roughly analogous to a bullet, and it's easy to see why there would be deep penetration into the building, damaging the core. These buildings aren't designed to be penetrated by blunt force trauma but rather "to be slapped" by strong winds over the entirety of the structure. Not hundreds of thousands of pounds of force concentrated into a very small area.

There isn't some huge hand guiding everything together. Indeed to think that organizations aren't peppered with people like me who live to see others burn is just quite silly. Just through first hand experience I can say that generally when two larger companies are competing for the same space it becomes a definite us vs them mentality. The thing about winners? They don't like sharing. They'd much rather see you taken down then piss on you if you were being immolated alive. Although, if there are people out there trying to unite the world into one government they need to recruit me because they're doing a [m'kay] terrible job of it.

The link between religion, the 9/11 conspiracy, and economic corruption? People [m'kay] suck. The upside? Statistically speaking, they suck a lot less on average now. Yay!

Edit: Wanted to check before I said something ridiculously stupid, but I've heard it claimed that "there's not a fire on earth hot enough to melt steel" but Jet exhaust reaches temperatures of 8,000 degrees Fahrenheit, with internal temperatures of at least 2,000 degrees fahrenheit where steel has a melting point of 2500-3500 degrees depending on the variant. And it's not as even if you need to reach the melting point to do serious damage to the structure just through it's heat.

I don't know why people keep thinking there is a conspiracy theory. Why would the U.S government attack it's own financial center and military center? It's not logical.

These videos remind me of the history channel....

EDIT: adding to what Mandy said... extreme temperatures in a building on fire can also destroy concrete. High temperatures expand concrete and in some cases, the humidity contained will cause so much pressure that it "explodes" and ruptures the columns and walls. Not to mention all the force caused by a massive airplane slamming into the building.

Oh, no, not THIS again. It's still as fundamentally wrong as the last ten times I saw it mentioned.
