You are comparing 2 different technologies. Of course the iPhone 4G is going to be better if you need a phone.

BUT...lets look at that lack of Flash support? How about that non-replaceable battery? What if you want to install an app that is only available outside of the app store? Opps, out of luck there. OH, and lets not even think about discussing AT&T's crappy 3G coverage in the US or the new antenna flaw that causes calls to drop.

Exactly...but what if your main objective is not to make phone calls but listen to music and you have 64 GB of music and the iPhone 4g does not come in a 64 GB model.

It is all a moot point. As Haas said....the Android OS will rule the mobile world in the near future.

I have an iTouch (32 GB). Unfortunately, iPhones run exclusively off of AT&T (which is BS in my book). My whole house is Verizon...wife and kids' cell phones, TV, Computers (Verizon FIOS Optic Cable), & house phone. As soon as Verizon gets to service iPhones, I'm getting one.

I do love my iTouch, and surf this forum frequently using it. Great music system, applications, etc. BUT I have to be near accessible WiFi to surf the net. There are too many times I WISH I had the phone for surfing when out and about, and there are various applications that can only be used with the iPhone and not the iTouch. So, if I had a choice, I'd get the phone. But Apple always sells the lower Gig phones first, to make you buy it, then they'll flood the market with higher memory phones in a year or so, to make you buy it as well...something they easily could do now.
