We used Sigs (I had a P226) for a long time in the Bureau. We switched to Glocks. I have a 40 and a 45 cal. Good gun, but the Sig was much better. I miss my Sig... :-|

Or you could go my way. Double barrel 10 ga shotgun. I don't like to chase deer after shooting them.

"This goes through the victim, through the wall, through a tree outside....."

When I bought my first I had an idea of what I wanted and was leaning towards the Beretta that was almost in my set price range of $550. I can't express to you enough how much I don't regret not picking up the 9mm sig 226 that was closer to $700. The right gun will choose you.
Big congrats dude. I'm proud of ya.

Dude what do you do with a gun, self defense?

Self Defense, Home Defense , Hunting etc

here in California its legal to carry your weapon around in a holster of course as long as its not loaded and your not showing it around like a jackass

Stupid people make guns dangerous if you are responsible a gun is like a tool well that's in my opinion

Yes it can be, useful for killing bears or random a-holes breaking into your house

Same thing with a Swiss army knife / pocketknife. I use my knife for dicing vegetables, skinning deer, wahtever. I would never stab someone, thats just too wrong. Let along shoot someone, that wasn't even funny. :-|

Anyhow mat enjoy your gun, maybe you'll have fun blasting beer bottles in the wilderness. Who knows...

I use a pellet gun as it is safer for shooting pop bottles in my "bunker." It is a storage area, its made of concrete like military bunkers, but open. Fun. I also enjoy shooting haybales and water. Don't ask.

What kind of tool do you mean? Tool for killing ?

Anyway, congrats Matt! Now go shoot someone to see if your gun is working OK...
