Drug use is a worldwide problem. Everyone has their own reasons why they use. But one thing that all drug users do is find justifiable reasons of why they use. While I dont condone using drugs. I think the gov't should legalize it. The war on drugs is a failure, it' been proven that prohibition doesn't work. Making it legal will stop the criminal elements from becoming rich from its sales which in turn would make streets safer. No more gangs having turf wars, no more criminal organizations geting rich (and powerful), no more billions of taxpayers dollars going into an unwinnable war. Tax it and I guarantee you our economy would be healthy again. Portugal legalize all drugs and the addiction rate from drugs came down considerably. The human mind is funny....deny the population of something and that's what they want...the forbiden. If Kool Aid was illegal, Kool Aid sales would be phenomenal.

and here I remind myself about one quite cool comedy - "Love actually". There was a singer promoting his new hit and in the end he said:
"And now didactic thread. Children, don't take drugs! Become rock stars, you will get them for free!"

But to the topic, such a shame... I wasn't her great fan but like some of her songs. Well, nothing new: singers&drugs. Question, why? Maybe all good artists are slightly mkayed?

Random thoughts: I won't understand it, and never will. I've never done drugs, and never will. Just being famous doesn't make you choose to do them. She did it because of many things. She was rich, and had the money to try them. She was depressed, and had the mental condition to justify them. She was weak, and didn't have the strength to deny them. Now she's gone, and everyone is saying "such a pity..she was SUCH a great singer." While I feel bad for her family, I feel worse that she will never know the sorrow she caused her family...and others. The media is going to aggrandize her. Life isn't worth doing this to yourself, for anyone. And an early, untimely death awaits many more just like her. Move along. There's nothing to see here. Slowly, surely, this whole country is turning into Hollywood/media brainwashed dead heads.
