What I meant is that more than likely, these people are isolated from the rest of the country. They probably also undergo extensive brainwashing too. I say this because it is in N. Korea's interest to keep out influence from other counties.

THEWULFMAN wrote:But the Olympics is about forgetting all about that, and coming together as a world in peace for friendly competition. Not allowing N. Korea to play accomplishes nothing good.

You do have a point here. I guess I got caught up with the image of the country, and forgot about that. I'm still not convinced that allowing N. Korea to complete will accomplish anything good, but you are right that not allowing them will most definitely not accomplish anything.

One thing that really makes me mad is about Taiwan.

Because China says "NO WE OWN IT, MINE MINE MINE MINE," they call it Chinese Taipai. And both the UN and the Olympics go along with it.

If you want to get really bad about something, that would be it.

I'm with Cypher. It really isn't cool that they aren't calling it Taiwan. It's like they don't respect their independence.

I agree on this (good). This is funny (good). However it gots to be North Korea (Unintelligible...perhaps Jive?). I am shocked they're allowed in the Olympics (corrected). Grade: D+ Solution: Summer school English Class.
