 nice solution

well yes but I only mow the lawn of my parents and I do it for free. None of my neighbors seem to need help ... they have these HUGE top of the line lawn mowers like the guy plowing the snow in the video. I have one of those small ones that you push. I thought of selling it to buy one of those like in the video and solve the snow problem at the same time.

EDIT: here's the lawn mower I have

Lol true... i'm just not used to it. I have never actually feared a tornado but now that I live in Indiana..... There's a siren near where I live.

oh and thanks for the advice guys... I used to live in an apartment, so all of this is new to me.

that also reminds me, the backyard has many places where the grass died (because the last person who lived here had a dog). I bought one of those jugs with "seeds" to get grass growing in certain spots... but the color of the grass is different so I don't know what to do. It's just like in the Scotts commercial....

reseed the whole lawn and overtime it will blend in.. Or strip your lawn and plant over.... I'll ping my mom on this as she is a major green thumb.

Or....Here is my solution.
Step 1. Buy a dog or many dogs
Step 2 Train dogs to pee on the more vibrant grass
Step 3. Check results and repeat if necessary.

Kamehameha that [poo]

All Warfare is based on deception.
Anger his general and confuse him.
Offer the enemy bait to lure him; feign disorder and strike him.
Know the enemy and know yourself; and in a hundred battles you will never be in peril.
