I can't say, really... Everyone who has one loves it, I know. My carry is a para- compact, but heavy. My 9 is a sig- a tad bulky for carry, but I can shoot it with my eyes closed and never miss.

Glock? Why not dude? They take such a beating but always fire. They're so versatile in that the clips interchange and you can modify the crap out of them.

That's why the Bureau bought them. Very reliable after thousands of rounds testing all types of handguns. I miss my Sig though, for the same reason Haas mentioned. And its the cool looking X Files gun (heh heh) I shoot my Glock 21 (45 cal) better than my Glock 22 (40 cal).

Anyways, I am looking at a Smith and Wesson .223 cal AR style rifle. I want to start varmint and coyote hunting (wife is going to love me...) I can also use it for deer in Michigan. Besides the practical uses... it looks like fun

Oh yes... and my kids step father needs to be reminded that people who beat on wives aren't allowed on my property..

I was just back home for the holidays (Miami) and went shooting with the Ruger .44 I had purchased my pop earlier this year. It's a single action revolver, like in the old west (He's a part of SASS). Anyways he had regular .44 amo and .44 Magnums...MAN, what a difference! Like shooting a little cannon when shooting the mags. Lots of fun, along w/shooting some of the others he had.

Question for you gun experts. I've always had guns, but not since I got married. Wifey, tho, is ready to get one, mainly for house protection; so this will be our only gun...for now :) . We'll start off w/a pistol, of course. Any good guns for protection that are good for inexperienced wifey's to shoot? We've already decided we want magazines rather than revolvers. Thoughts? 9 or LR .22 maybe? Others?
