Because of this show I have a degree in criminal justice , which is were I met my wife. So really, without this show, there would never had been a Matthew, I never would've played this game and MD would be nonexistent. I would probably be a homeless vagrant. :afro:

This show opened up a new world of music for me. Probably why my tastes are also bit eclectic.

Miami Vice was one of the most influential TV shows of it's time. Everyone, including myself, tried to dress like them. Thanks to the show, I dressed in suits every time I went clubbin'. I also adopted the Italian loafers with no socks look.. I was very popular with the ladies then, and I owe it all to a TV show. Go figure.

I was totally against the new BSG after watching the pilot. I really liked the original, and they were shooting bullets in space! Really!?!? Where are all the lasers!

Anyway, I decided to watch an episode in the 4th season and kind of liked it. Went back to the beginning and watched the series all the way through. I was hooked and it turned out to be pretty cool. I also ended up then watching Caprica and the new Blood and Chrome. :whistling:

So how many shows on my list do you youngins' know nothing about?

The original BSG was great when I was a kid, but watching it after all these years, kind of lame. I loved the remake, it was edgier and much more in depth story wise. Still had a hard time getting over the fact that they cast a lady as Starbuck, but that's life.
Another one that I really liked was Buck Rogers with Gil Gerard.
Also grew up with this:

I never watched an episode actually. Eye candy wasn't enough for me.

I love the intro of Great American Hero. I have the song in my super 80's list in Spotify even though I never watched it.
