For those who said that they never tried drugs and never will...rephrase that to "never tried illegal drugs"....because we all have done drugs in one way or another.

All Warfare is based on deception.
Anger his general and confuse him.
Offer the enemy bait to lure him; feign disorder and strike him.
Know the enemy and know yourself; and in a hundred battles you will never be in peril.

She would have had non-stop Uber-Munchies...Then she'd have had a spot on 'Celebrities Biggest Losers' trying to shed 200 pounds off her 400 pound frame. But I admit, that would have been the best drug of choice if she had to use any. Heck, the Beatles wrote their best stuff while on 'Doobies'. But today I learned that there's going to be a shortage of 'Twinkies'. :-| The world is surley going to end.

Now she's gone, and everyone is saying "such a pity..she was SUCH a great singer." While I feel bad for her family, I feel worse that she will never know the sorrow she caused her family...and others. The media is going to aggrandize her. Life isn't worth doing this to yourself, for anyone. And an early, untimely death awaits many more just like her. Move along. There's nothing to see here. Slowly, surely, this whole country is turning into Hollywood/media brainwashed dead heads.

[m'kay] a. I tried to say it better myself, but you hit nail on head. I even tried all that stuff and didn't understand the attraction.

Disgusting, isn't it?

You tried it, I'm not even close to it. I've heard a lot of drugs that are not "safe" if we can talk about drugs in that way. I mean, there is stuff created in factitious conditions, even light is not real. And they can make you ill, that you will get some disease you wouldn't get trying normal ones. Never you are sure of what you take. So better not to risk even for a try. Anyway, sad thing is most people start from taking medicines someone prescribed them, then they take more and get addicted and it may not be on purporse.

Heres what I think it's really sad. Giving medication to kids. Can you say, "druggie in training?". These poor kids grow up taking "medicine" all their lives...take away their "medicine" and they cant cope. They don't know how to live "sober". That's a strange feeling for them. I even refuse to get my kids vaccinated for the flu, but thats a different story.

you know Panama, now you reminded me a film Requiem for a Dream. There was this mother that was unaware of dangerous coming from using medicines without conscience of side effects...

Facts:
1. There are good drugs.
2. There are bad drugs.
3. There are good drugs that idiots refuse to take because they are stupid.
4. There are bad drugs that idiots take because they are stupid.
5. There are good drugs that idiots abuse because they are stupid.
6. There are bad drugs that idiots abuse because they are stupid.
7. There are idiots who are idiots because they didn't take their good drugs.
8. There are idiots who won't believe a word of what I just said because they are idiots.

I'm sure I missed something in that list so...ad infinitum...

What I find alittle perplexing is..why are you given medicines to cure/treat an illness, and the same medicine has "side effects" that potentialy gives you other illnesses? Hell...some even warns of death...alittle ironic, ain't it? Example, I was taking Chantix, to quit smoking, (it didnt work)...but one of the many side effects was "suicidal tendencies"....that'll get you to quit smoking.
