Me too. My sons and I all like different teams. One son likes Ohio State, one likes Michigan State and one likes Michigan...Good thing one kid likes the same team as me.

I was talking more about pro football, but I do like VA Tech. The hard part is my brother and father like the cowboys.......and I like the Redskins.

Luckily we all like the Lions...even though they choke half the time and get very lucky the other half.

I don't think there is anyone who likes their own team, AND, the Yankees. Yankees are a team that you either love em or hate em. I can't stand them myself. All the money they blow on players is what made the entire league balloon. Giants did it too with Zito and they got burned, but at least they know how to develop players in the minor leagues. I'd like to know if anyone knows who the last star player was that the Yankees developed from their own farms. It was Jeter, who don't get me wrong, is one of the best around, but instead of tring to build a team, the NY philosophy is to go out and buy one.

I knew Jammy would be a baseball guy.

I think Hstar was saying that unless you're a Yankees fan, you're going to hate them. I agree with you 100% on them not developing their own talent.

Yes that's what I was saying. I know it was a fragmented sentence but give me a break I'm using my phone and I can only see a few words on the screen at a time. :) In my defense though, if you read the sentence as a whole I think it makes some sense. :innocent: :P

Bottem line Yanks you either love them or hate them.

Could someone explain to me why the giants and dodger fans hate each other so much. Why is it such a big rivalry.
