Right after my second heart transplant, a full lock of my hair turned grey right as I got out of the hospital. I actually kind of enjoyed it, being that I could position it with my bangs. As I was still in school at that time, I decided to put just the tiniest amount of glitter along the lock and told people it was silver. It was kind of cool, actually. To this day, I'm still mildly proud of myself for taking what should have been a drastic event and making a positive opportunity out of it, though I can't recall if I ever considered it from that perspective at that time. Eventually it went away, and grey hairs have not returned.

I'm not quite sure if I would have the same outlook on getting grey hairs now. I've never actually dyed my hair before, but I'm not sure if I would consider it at this point.
