It pisses me of that people who post on this thread with their so called "real world wisdom" and "experiences" keep insisting that guns are necessary to over throw an evil dictator, or they are needed because Jewish people would not have been killed in Germany had a weapons ban not been in place. If you want me to respect your wisdom and experience please use rational arguments. Stamping your feet and saying "I DESERVE MY GUNS BECAUSE IT"S MY RIGHT" is very childish. Laws are revised all the time, back when the forefathers signed the Declaration of Independence slavery was still legal.
If you go back to my
first postings on the thread you'll see that I said ALL guns would never be banned in this country simply because there are way too many of them. You guys with your "real world wisdom" and "experiences" are getting angry because someone comes on here and says assault rifles are dangerous. They may not be dangerous to you but you're not the only one using them. The fact is that
anyone can get a hold of a weapon that can fire round after round of ammunition. A handgun has defensive uses, most hunting rifles have uses in rural areas, an assault rifle has no use other then to kill.
DoF you have brought up that a car is just as deadly, yet a car has a designed use of transportation. Other then the fact that you guys like them I still haven't heard a legitimate use of an AK-47. If they are fun to play with fine, make it where you can go to the nearest shooting range to go fire off a couple rounds. People how want to run their car engines to the full and race around must go to a track. My point is there is nothing wrong with controlling the assault weapon.

All I want is a simple answer. What use does and AK-47 have. Please don't say cause it's cool, that's not a use, its a preference. Don't say it's your right, because that's not a use. Someone tell me what use an AK-47 has. Someone with "real world wisdom" and "experience"
