The oil wells weren't burnt to the ground in Iraq.. they are still producing plenty of oil, of which the US isn't taking any, the Iraqis are free to sell it. The Iraqis are also not giving any money to the US after the billions we have spent on re-building what we blew up and we haven't asked them for any money either. The US has NEVER profited from a war, Iraq, Viet-Nam, Korea, WWI, WWII, Bosnia, and certainly not Afghanistan. All the US has ever done is help liberate people and left. After WWII all they asked for is enough land to bury their dead.
