I loled when you said that

Of course, I say that. When we hit Greece levels of poverty and debt, THEN our nation will break apart. Again, thanks to our silly liberal money spending government. Liberals will be the downfall of the greatest nation of the past 500 years.

Yes, because the Republican Party sure has proved to us in the past three decades how financially responsible they are...
Don't kid yourself, the Republicans are no longer the fiscal conservatives they used to me. Hell, my state's Republican Senatorial candidate, Tom Smith, ran his entire campaign on the fact that he would increase Social Security and Defense while the big-bad Democrat, Bob Casey Jr., wanted to cut these programs...
And 2012 - 500 =/= 1776.

We, as a Nation, are heavily devided...more so than I've ever witnessed...perhaps more than ever...idk. But what I do know, is if our Government does not work together, and 'respect' each individual States Sovereignty, and stop forcing states to comply with laws it does not like, we will soon be headed down a path that we haven't seen since the late 1850's, and just prior to the Revolutionary War.
I hope it doesn't go that way. Too many people will suffer, and it certainly isn't the best direction to go while there's a chance of hope. Obama is the key player in all this, and he's going to also need to be a fair referee too for both sides to work together. If he takes a strict partisan approach and attitude (It's my way or the Highway), it will be doomed to fail from that point on.
If that happens, I strongly encourage the purchasing and investment in Lead, gunpowder and guns...and precious metals. The Twinkies are gone, so stock up on other foods too.

I don't like to state my opinion on the political affairs of other countries but I think both parties have their share of the problem. Both Bush and Obama have done massive bailouts and that is why the government is in debt.
