[poo]. Well I DID buy an "electric shovel" a couple of years ago...it works ok. Hopefully it'll be like last year's snow, enh?!

heyy imaim :th_a017:

lol I don't think so. It might be worse this time because... haven't you noticed that it was already chilly 2 weeks before fall actually began? Also, I read somewhere that an old farmer's encyclopedia predicted snow by the time of the super bowl (not good news lol). Finally, the north pole grew 60% this year... that means the northern hemisphere might have a very harsh winter.

i'm no weather man, but these things seem to indicate tons of snow. I am planning on buying a snowjoe s620. It is electric and hopefully I won't get fried/electrocuted while removing the snow.

EDIT: I passed your comment to this thread.. makes more sense

and here's the link to the story of the farmer's almanac:

In Wisconsin it is minor nuisance. But apparently, you southerners cannot even handle a couple of inches without shutting your roads down.

I lived in Spartanburg South Carolina when I was about 19-20, the city shut downs on a dusting of snow. Countless cars in ditches. I never laughed so hard.

Same thing happened when I visited my friend at Ft. Hood for Thanksgiving about twenty years ago. One inch of snow and they were in "blizzard" mode and there was a run at the grocery stores for bread and milk. The next day it warmed up and the snow was gone. That tickled me some.

Duel this statement is so true, you have no idea. Southerners CANNOT drive in it.
