Oh good God!! Bush didn't steal a damn thing! The votes were cast by the people. And Bush had less 'influence' on its outcome as an ex-Governor than Gore, who was the sitting VP. The Supreme Court (if you want to point fingers) ultimately had more say than anyone. And they should not have to have been involved, but they were sick and tired of the stupidity of it all, and Gore not 'manning up' and accepting the fact he lost the crucial state by less than 600 votes...count after re-count, after re-count. He wanted them re-counting the same damn ballots until he won! That's just [m'kay] stupid!
I agree with 3.14, Nader did 'a Perot' in a small Florida county. Too bad, so sad...That's democracy. Unfortunately, we don't go by 'popular' vote, and still use that damn antiquated 'Electoral' vote. Nader's was on a much smaller scale than Perot, but it was the same ultimate outcome. He changed the election. God dammit, I'm sick of people saying Bush 'stole' the election. Blame Nader..blame the chad counters, blame the retards that didn't know how to vote in that Florida county, blame the supreme court, but Bush (43) did NOT steal a damn thing! He waited for the final determination like a professional...
Now Obama on the other hand is trying to keep the military overseas from voting by holding back absentee ballots or indirectly influencing it!...Now THAT is 'stealing' an election. He knows many in the Military overseas and here at home cannot stand him. And he also knows their votes could screw him. We'll see what we'll see.
