THEWULFMAN wrote:Yes, because jumping backwards in chronological time for Episode VII makes so much sense. If you want an Old Republic movie, fine, but it shouldn't be VII.(=DK=)Samonuh wrote:If they make an Episode VII, at least make it focus on the Old Republic Era.
Col. Homestar wrote:Episode 7 title needs to be Heir to the Empire. The actors ages are easy enough to work around, Star Wars was never really about stunts anyway. The Thrawn Trilogy is movie ready, each book starts out with scenes in space, the story is NOT focused only on Jedi and Sith (which was the main problem with the prequels and most I the recent novels) The story is also unique without straying too much from the Star Wars universe.
Also I agree with Wulf... LotF and NJO were terrible. Stick to Zahn Books and the X-wing series

A) It wasn't originally episode I. It was originally Star Wars, no episode title at all.
B) What does it mat.ter what it started as? What mat.ters is that a year after release he realized he was going to have the needed money for the rest of the movies, and rereleased it under the new title Episode IV.
Movies set in Revan's era could have their own number series. Star Wars: The Old Republic: Episode X: A New Hat Factory.

Let's just see how Disney will handle this first and then we can praise or ...I don't want to think about that.
Does Lucas' belief in the End of the World have something to do with it? Let the speculation begin!
Cheers
