I hate fat people. I hate the way they look and the way they smell. Fat people should have to go outside to eat. Society isn't holding a gun to their head, but they keep eating. Its horribly unhealthy (insert random facts about diabetes, obesity, and health costs).
Still feel the same, or are all you who berate smokers in peak physical health too?
Having been a fat person (and still trying to drop another like 60 pounds, [m'kay] i'm still pretty fat), I honestly think that portraying fatness as an objectively bad thing would be a pretty decent way to get people to shape up, so to speak. Ever since I started showing signs of becoming a tub of lard, people told me "oh that's okay everyone's different and it doesn't
er if you're fat!". Well that's a complete load of [poo]. Being fat is a
bad thing. It costs a ton of [m'kay] money, if you go too far you're just going to be seen as a completely disgusting slob, and no
er how sparkly your personality is you will hardly
ever be attractive to the opposite sex. If i'd just had someone tell me this
before I put the pieces together myself, I probably would have had a much easier childhood. Instead, I was told that all the people who made fun of me for being fat were bullies. So of course, when people started pointing it out as a legitimate health issue, my response was to block them out because "THEY DON'T ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM GOD DAMN".
I'm sick of this "accept everyone" attitude that seems to pervade every aspect of the American consciousness. No, fatness should not be encouraged, obliquely or blatantly, at any point. Thanks to that mentality, i've spent nearly my entire life as a mouth breathing sack of diabetes, and have only within the past four years been able to pull myself (sort of) out of the hole. Unfortunately, the fact that you considered "well I hate fat people" as a strawman argument only further illustrates my point. It's considered completely unacceptable to make fun of fat people. In my opinion, it's a hell of a lot better to make them get [m'kay] skinny instead of tippy-toeing around the whole issue.
Basically what i'm trying to say is, if you're a kid and you're fat, that is
not okay. I don't give a [m'kay] what your parents say, what your counselor says, or what excuse you have. Unless you've got some kind of disease where you straight up can't do anything, you
should not be fat. It isn't meant to be the natural state, and the fact that it's being considered as such is something that I find truly reprehensible.
That's about all I have to say about that. And no, I didn't read any of the posts past this because god damn it I haven't had a decent reason to get all pissy in a long time and i'm savoring this. And no haas, i'm not yelling at you, just making a point.
