How does that make it any more possible for you to have an accurate shot against him? If he was simply firing at random into a cloud of smoke, you'd end up doing the exact same thing, and possibly kill even more innocent civilians.

It would depend where you were in relation to the canister.

Considering my daily carry has a laser grip and that I am more than proficient with my weapon the he apparently was with his, I would say that you are incorrect and that he would indeed have ended the day with a hole in his head. Also, my stating that he was not proficient with his weapon is based on the fact that his AR jammed as early as it did. Maybe if you had some real world firearms training instead of video game training you would have a better understanding.

I have yet to hear anyone sing the praises of the 100 round drum. They jam.

Also, concealed, and even overt carry, pose a huge threat to civility. When the masses are scared, they demand what I have heard people on this thread demand - egregious exaggerations and over-corrections. If a criminal gains easy access to overt carry, the consequences could be incalculable. People must set aside their anger and grief to think clearly.

Ok, you "doubt" concealed carry would've helped? This is your assumption, not a fact, so we can toss that remark in the trash.

Scared people firing randomly into the smoke? I covered this earlier in the thread, the shooter is also in the same smoke,,,,read my earlier post.

"Let's contemplate the outcome" This is even less factual than your first sentence. If you want to play Monday morning QB, then I can do the same....had I been in that crowd with my daily carry weapon, that dude would have a hole in his head.

"If a criminal gains easy access to overt carry, the consequences could be incalculable" Don't worry, most criminals have their own version of concealed carry and guess what, they don't have to do any paperwork or pay any fees.

"People must set aside their anger and grief to think clearly" But they don't. I refer you to the wolf/sheep and sheepdog relationship. The wolves will NEVER go away. NEVER. Listen to this word......."NEVER". That's just how it is, welcome to the world.

psst..."never"

"This is even less factual than your first sentence. If you want to play Monday morning QB, then I can do the same....had I been in that crowd with my daily carry weapon, that dude would have a hole in his head." And this is not an assumption/exaggeration?

"Don't worry, most criminals have their own version of concealed carry and guess what, they don't have to do any paperwork or pay any fees." My point exactly; gun laws are much too lax.

"This is your assumption, not a fact, so we can toss that remark in the trash." Well, yes...it is an assumption. But it wasn't intended to be a statement of indisputable fact. I provided speculation on why after that sentence.

"But they don't. I refer you to the wolf/sheep and sheepdog relationship. The wolves will NEVER go away. NEVER. Listen to this word......."NEVER". That's just how it is, welcome to the world." I have no idea what you're talking about here. I was referring to the demand for overt carry laws and subsequently, laxer gun laws. The comparison, relating to your example, would be that the sheepdogs are not thinking clearly; their "solution" would only exacerbate the problem.

"Don't worry, most criminals have their own version of concealed carry and guess what, they don't have to do any paperwork or pay any fees." My point exactly; gun laws are much too lax. - so we let the government pass more laws that only punish the law abiding citizen and strip us of more and more freedoms? That's a terrible idea.

"This is your assumption, not a fact, so we can toss that remark in the trash." Well, yes...it is an assumption. But it wasn't intended to be a statement of indisputable fact. I provided speculation on why after that sentence. - So like said, toss this exchange in the trash.

"People must set aside their anger and grief to think clearly" "But they don't. I refer you to the wolf/sheep and sheepdog relationship. The wolves will NEVER go away. NEVER. But nonetheless, you are correct, we must set aside anger and grief and think clearly which means they don't need to pass anymore kneejerk laws.

I have no need for firearms training. I refuse to discuss my views on the subject any further since I'm surrounded by neo-conservatives who will refuse to have a decent argument without throwing out petty insults, but whatever...

And please don't start acting like you're more of a man/adult because you know how to fire a weapon.
