It will months or years before you can actually buy or own a firearm in the city, but I moved out of the city limits in January, so I already have this:

Politeness is a discipline that compels respectful behavior. Morality is like a politeness of the soul, an etiquette of the inner life, a code of duties, a ceremonial of the essential.

Matt, be honest, is this going to be your new method of dealing with rule breakers on SWGO's servers?

Matt, I hope you never 'go Postal'!...Stay away from automatics...The temptation to 'hose down' things is too great!

Seriously, when its time to buy, go to more than one shop and hold every pistol that might interest you.
When I bought my first I had an idea of what I wanted and was leaning towards the Beretta that was almost in my set price range of $550. I can't express to you enough how much I don't regret not picking up the 9mm sig 226 that was closer to $700. The right gun will choose you.
Big congrats dude. I'm proud of ya.
