Skiing/Snowboarding 2010-2011

Postby samonuh » Fri Jan 07, 2011 10:40 pm

I've made a topic like this the past 2 years, so I figure I'd post one again. As some of you may know, I love skiing and everything about it. I have dreams of going to places like Whistler, Vail, and all that good stuff, but unfortunately I'm stuck here in boring Pennsylvania. My main mountain is Camelback Mountain and I may take a trip to Elk or Blue Mountain one of these days this winter.

Here's a picture of Camelback Mountain:

So, the reason I made this topic is to tell me what your skiing or snowboarding plans are this winter. Or share what your "home mountain" is if you have nothing big planned...

I skied at Crested Butte, Montana a few years ago. Broke my leg there. Abosuletly beautiful...the 'scenery', not the crash. :whistling:

Next ski trip plans for us are......Headed to Fernie for a weekend trip near the end of the month. Will probably make a day trip to Lake Louise or Sunshine (the slopes near Banff) a few times this winter/spring as well...

I think the websites are...

http://www.skibanff.com/
http://www.skilouise.com/
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics stink!

Got a season pass to the puny, boring hills near my house: http://www.bmbw.com

But they're fun, and have good parks. I <3 my board: Image

Great park board, and really nice on the mountains also. Never Summer is THE WAY.

So yeah <3 boarding
