Just wanted to send some prayers to those potentially in Irenes path. I am currently in Delaware and am leaving tommorow due to evacuation orders. Gonna be a long ride home. Again, praying for all of you who could be affected by this.

Best of luck to you all,
KT

(I could be offline due to the weather... Stupid failed power company)

Be safe everyone.
I will be driving home from Vermont to Maine during part of it (should be interesting...). It should be even stronger when I get home (I live on the coast of Maine)

So one sec. You are away from the hurricane; it won't be able to hit you hard, more or less. So now you're driving back to your coastal house and not even leaving early because of a [m'kay] hurricane, so you PLAN TO GET HIT ON THE WAY THERE.

You know, there are some people on this forum that I consider stupid, but they're stupid in normal ways. You know, they might be a tad dumb or something. This is the first time i've seen someone [m'kay] suicidally stupid.

Still... I'd rather have a hurricane than be hit by an Earthquake, a Tsunami or a Tornado. Yes, I experienced all of them...
Funny thing is (if you can call it that) is that the most deaths occur after the Hurricane has left. Many of the deaths were due to people walking onto puddles that had power cables laying by the puddles in FL around 2008-2009.

Cheers

We have to drop my brother off for college. We haven't even left for Vermont yet anyway.

Whatever, I guess I'll finish my AP Lit work before the hurricane, and finish AP Gov on Monday...

I'm just grateful that I live on the edge of where the hurricane is going to hit. If I were living in New Jersey or Long Island...I don't know...
