Well as much as i hate CERTAIN trolling, especially on topics you souldn't troll on, like what is said here "A death of someone" i do think they are taking it a little over the edge.
Like what was said there, i do think most of us live in a free country? Doesn't that mean liberty of speach?

Well as much as i'm against a troll saying bad stuff on a death thread putting someone in jail for it is just plain stupid.
If they think some trolls flame too much on regular forums try playing in HA for a bit

Toughts?

Comedian Dom Joly takes a different approach.

He describes himself as "troll slayer" and takes pleasure in tracking down the culprits and exposing them to public shame, especially from close family.

"There's something about a bully that really annoys me," he says. "They'll say something online that they'd never dare to say to your face."

The deviousness is "freaky". He discovered that one of those who'd threatened him was a 14-year-old girl with nine different online identities. They aren't always very intelligent about how they do it, he says.

"One guy tweeted from his work account that he hoped my kids die of cancer. I let the MD of the firm know and the guy was fired. I felt no guilt, he should have gone to prison."

I've done the same thing and feel the same way about bullies, so trolls should beware - there is no such thing as anonymity on the internet.

I don't class those cases as trolling. I class them as "being a [poo] head".

Well technicly it depends, in the USA probably not...but if a troll is a little smart they can't track him.
I'm not even trying and my IP auto-changes a few times a day, and tracing it is imposible since the location is only a few hunderd miles off

I'd hate to live in Europe where it seems you can be censored and arrested for everything.
