Funny, I don't recall any arrests at any of the tea party rallies that I attended. Maybe we were just doing it wrong. :whistling:

Yes haas it all makes sence!
I mean the police arresting over 150 people for staying at the park after closing time? and in chicago? this is fishy...

My conclusion is:

Gmrz bought off the cops to make a fuzz about the arresting so they could secretly take away MC...and this prooves it:

Last visit at 3AM meaning MC tryed to warn us about what was going on from his phone  but it seems he was too late  so now we all have to merge with gmrz due to being leaderless without MC

toughts?

MT...LMAO

And this is why our country is in trouble. In Portland Mayor Adams stated he won't arrest those who are demonstrating peacefully (they did arrest 8 individuals who were blocking traffic.) Chicago really dug themselves a hole. Look at all the lawyers they'll have to provide... the legal fees will add up quickly!!

No arrests in Dc, which is nearby. In fact, they're letting these protesters stay for 4 more months, so long as they keep it peaceful. :whistling:

The vast majority so far have been arrested for being in a public park after hours.
I have not personally been arrested yet but many friends have.

Couple stories:

The Futures and Mortgage Bankers associations had their big meetings in Chicago - diverse groups across the city had their own rallies then seven marches all met up where the associations were have a fancy black tie dinner at the Art Institute. Thousands of people lined the sidewalks in all directions while hundreds blocked the street and were arrested. Predatory lending and foreclosures were the unifying drivers.

Five senior women led a protest at Bank of America and delivered items found in foreclosed homes in their neighborhoods, including syringes, used condoms, and litter. All five were arrested, three of them over 70 years old.

Last night hundreds were arrested for trying to occupy a public park, hundreds more remained moving on the sidewalk.

This morning, hundreds of nurses who had setup a free medical aid station were arrested in the park.

I'm really not surprised at all at what has happened in Chicago. The Chicago PD have gained and maintained a nasty reputation for arresting protesters--violent and non-violent alike. Don't forget your gas mask Matt.

Officer Rivieri (and others of the same mentalit) must be having a field day with this sort of chaos.
Glad you're walking free, so far anyway, matt

On another note, some of you may remember that I'm involved in a big lawsuit against the CPD and the city for what they did to us the day the Iraq war started back in 2003.

We filed the lawsuit in April of 2003, we are going to trial January 2012. Nine years we've been working, deposing, motioning, etc. I'm on of the named plaintiffs so I'll be taking time off work to testify.

They tried counter-suing me and 18 others for $900,000 but it got tossed out.
