Wait, are you saying climatologists and environmental scientists are crazies? Then add me to the list of crazies.
Did you know that the Sun is undergoing a major solar minimum? Now consider, that Global average temperatures are still above average compared to 20th Century temperatures. Solar radiance variation has a very very small effect on the climate (temperature wise). Though the radiance did have an effect in the 17th Century, causing the Maunder Minimum. Climatologists and Astronomers say that if the Solar minimum persists today like in the 17th Century, we would not feel any significant change (or none at all). This is due to the excess anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions since the Industrial Revolution, the increase in the greenhouse effect would cancel out the lower solar output to cause any effect in lowering in Global average temperatures.
And no, we will not come to an Ice Age anytime soon. Maybe in 11 thousand years (earliest) but that's still a way off.
