hello peoples of the world!

Postby (SWGO)KT » Fri Jan 06, 2012 9:58 pm

Hi Everyone... I haven't been playing a lot lately and I don't think I've been on the forums in a while..... DAMN SHORT DAYS. Now to sum up my life in the past few months, HOMEWORK HOMEWORK HOMEWORK SLEEP HOMEWORK. Thats pretty much it. I've had a lot of activities, and school just gets harder and harder. It's close to exam time, actually, they start next week, and its just been like a roller coaster to hell... honestly, I have no idea why teachers think giving us a [poo] of homework is going to help us to study for exams :cursing: . I'm taking 5 exams this year , and 3 of them count on my transcript. It's alot of stress for me, and we aren't going to get 'good studing' in if were staying up working.... I have to do alot this weekend, so I ain't gonna be on a ton... that and the fact that theres an error code? Whenever I try to start BF, I get a steam message with Error Code 80... if anyone knows what that is, it'd be appreciated if you could help! Okay well this was kinda a random post, so whatever...

Good luck with the exams as well!
From what I gather is that 'Error Code 80' is a general Steam issue, no specific game is the cause.
Restart Steam and try again.
If this doesn't work, try deleting 'clientregistry.blob' in the Steam directory and then restart steam.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Ohai there again KT!

Welcome back and good luck with them exams of yours. I hate getting tons of homework too, I think my teachers expect us to do like 50 pages in one night. I get Algebra homework almost every night so that's a little bit of a pain, I also have to practice the songs we're playing in my band almost every night as well (I play percussion).

Have fun and once again good luck with the exams.

Hey KT. I saw you on HA, kinda thought you were receiving the same amount of stress as you were with school. :cursing:

About Steam, all U gotta do is pull up your task manager, (Ctrl, Shift, Esc) go to processes and end the process "Steam". Then just reopen it, and it should work I think.

EDIT: This will make it work once. You have to do it again and again to have it work each time.

Nice, what do you play?

I'm in percussion and it is awesome. One of my friend's dad has worked in percussion for 40+ years and writes accadences for us. We play with marching snares, basses and 1 marching quint. We're pretty impressive.

I have no exams, but I do fly $50 million aircraft. I feel the pain having been there. I still study...Emergency/Normal procedures for the aircraft I fly. But it's worth it. Don't ever regret busting your butt getting good grades! :punk:
