Doh!!! (with a big headslap) how could I have forgotten Star Wars books in a Star Wars site.
+1 Sir especially the Wraith Squadron X-Wing books. There's supposed to be a new one coming out in August. Personally I feel Star Wars novels start on a down hill decline after Survivors Quest (chronologically speaking) but I'm cautiously excited about what Aaron Alliston will do reviving his old series.

Thanks for the suggestions! I started reading "The Children of Hurin" by the imfamous author, the beloved J.R.R Tolkien. This book is amazing folks. I completely recommend this to learn new vocabulary, and its got a great storyline!
Here's a bit of it:

I've actually posted this a few months back on the other "Book to read" site. Ann Rice. The author of the book made into a movie; "Interview with a vampire". She's written a few books about "Lestat", he's the vampire played by Tom Cruise in the movie. One of the best one that I read by her was "Memnoch the Devil"...this book is about the Devil trying to "intice" Lestat to join him in Hell. The Devil (an interdimensional being)...takes Lestat to Hell and to Heaven. The Devil also takes Lestat back in time...to the day that Jesus was being crucified....Lestat saw Jesus all bloodied during "The Passion", as Jesus is being paraded through the streets. You have to read this book...it made me contemplate my faith...until I came to grips and realized this is a fiction book...that's how good this book was.
