New Mustang 2015

the 50th anniversary of the ford mustang is coming and ford plans to make a completely redesigned mustang. I really hope ford doesn't ruin it because I have always dreamed of having a mustang, which is impossible to buy in other countries. Now that I finally live in the U.S and that I only need 3 semesters to graduate... now they decide to change it??!! i'll move heaven and earth to get one (2010-2014 versions), even if the cheapest model once I finish college.. Damn, I would be happy to get a 2010 used version if necessary.... a Mustang has been an icon representing the best of american cars. Anyway... here's a link to the finance website Motley Fool talking about the reasons for the change (hint: it has to do with China and the Europeans). I will also post a link to a short history of the mustang if you are interested.

what do you guys think of the new 2015 model... hate it or love it? (personally I hate it). It looks like a ford fusion.

EDIT: pic is a concept based on what people were able to see when ford does some testing on the car. It could be different.

I want a Stang too. Yeah, I don't like that new design. Personally, my favorites are the 2000 thru 2005 version. But it's hard to find one that doesn't already have a butt-load of miles on it, or has been run into the ground without paying a lot. Still have 2 girls in college, so I gotta wait, especially since I drive 100 miles a day for work.

Tell me about it. I also thought of buying one of the older ones from 2005 but it is amazing how people take "good care" of their cars. If I got one I would probably keep it until old age.

what I love about the newest versions is the the back lights that go one by one when you turn right or left

It looks like a Z... and as a Z enthusiast that pisses me off.

I sold my '03 GT a little over a year ago. Adult driven, non smoker, well maintained and only 77k miles. Dark green exterior, tan leather and Bullit wheels. It wasn't my favorite Mustang I've owned, but it was certainly the nicest.

Guess I am old school. I grew up with the Ford Mustangs. My friend had a red '65 stang and we would get into so much trouble with it back in my high school days. Great car to work on and show off.
