Do you want some 'special' time with your hubby Nite? LOL. I'd go with the pump, more control and accuracy.

Congrats....Again, it depends. Do you want that boy to run peeing his pants because of the pump sound, or do you want him to just drop dead from 3-4 rapids shots in his raging hormonal body?

Me personally, I have a pump 12 gauge for just that occassion, but I am a firm believer in torture

Well...whether for Warning boys off, or forcefully 'escorting' them down the Wedding aisle, the pump makes a very respectable sound when you chamber the round. The sound of "Respect my Authorityyyy"

I went through months of decisions before I chose..

Saiga 12

Very simple, gas piston magazine fed (5 round to 12 round mag or drum).

Built on the venerable Kalashnikov platform.....it is simply a
Kalashnikov chambered for 12, 20, or 410 gauge. The basic configuration comes
CA / NJ legal.
Reliable, smooth (my wife is 5'3 and fires it very well).
Best of all is the price.

If hubby has any questions email me.

I absolutely cannot argue with poot on the Saiga. What an awesome shotgun. The guys I know that have them (they're a funny little clique) have the rifles tricked out like AR's. I spent a few hours with an aimpoint blasting slug at steel targets- fun as hell.
Myself, not being a hunter nor a commando (and more of a pistol guy), I couldn't pass on the value of the Mossberg 500. I got it at Dicks Sporting Goods for like $250. Its awesome for shooting trap, has that chamber locking sound that will make an intruder [poo] themselves, and I'm sure that if it hits the moving clay at 30yards, it will hit anything I point it near at home.
