If those were truly pieces of the wreckage they found, then it makes absolutely no sense. The ONLY thing that might, is if they were at 45,000 feet, and had some sort of explosive decompression knocking everyone out (maybe killing them) including the pilots. There's only a few seconds of consciousness in that case. And if the plane were so equipped, the auto-pilot goes into emergency descent mode to say, 14,000 feet while turning to increase rate of descent, while auto-throttles pulled power back to keep from going too fast, then at 14,000 feet the plane levels off, throttles auto-reset to cruise and plane levels wings to whatever heading it is programmed for. IDK....

Hmmmm.... I lost my quadcopter while flying it too high at about the same time. Coincidence? :ninja:

I say that it was terrorism. The plane evaded radar from other countries and someone had to shut down communications manually. Now, I don't know much about planes, but if it evaded radar and then crashed, then it wasn't massive decompression or other accident. Maybe the pilot or a small group of religious lunatics on board wanted to crash it, but were not affiliated to any terrorist group. That's my theory.

Well I gotta bump this. Too many theories to comb thru. Anybody hear or see anything new? Last lead I saw was a sonar pic from the northern Indian Ocean indicating there was a possibility that the plane was headed north.

Now they are wondering if the pings they were getting were the right frequency near Australia.

Why were the Chinese giving false locations for the pings?

Jammy's UFO seems almost plausible.
