Not a bad run. Hopefully we can continue with a new swbf. In the meantime, hang around (like y'all have anything better to do) and thanks for all your support :punk:

Wow, 5 years.

I've been around for a few years, but I haven't played in 1 year I think. I really should come back.

Wow time just flies, has it really been 5 years?

I remember when I first joined. For some reason I had had my mind set that I was going to join [merc] (thank God I didn't) but one day I was playing on their servers, and near to the end of the round a couple of SWGO guys typed in "Join SWGO", or words to that effect, then left. I guess I thought they had balls or something, since merc didn't allow recruiting on their servers (I was only a youngling at the time, so pretty much any kind of subversion was appealing  ). So I joined.

Anyway, that's how I discovered SWGO - all because a couple of our members broke rules on another server.  So much for standards.

So how about everyone else? How did you discover SWGO? :whistling:

Yep happy birthday SWGO, happy times and loads of memories to boot.

Came from WGO with a number of the other :wheelchair: and long may SWGO continue.

Looking forward to the next installment of SWBF which should open up a new chapter for everyone.

Cheers...

Me being an old fart (probably the oldest on BF2) I bought the game one day on ebay about 3 years (?) ago. I then started surfing the various servers, found some I liked, and noticed SWGO had like 3 of them and played a bit. I then checked out the website(s) per the admin advertisements, and between the two was impressed by the professional organization and maturity of SWGO members. I think Brazos and Dad did the most to impress and draw me in and it didn't take long, but the more I played, the more I just stuck with SWGO and decided to join.

Happy birthday SWGO :happybday:

How I found SWGO? Well, I just went to multiplayer, saw SWGO had a bunch of players in their server, so I joined the server. After playing for maybe a year, I finally decided to join. I wanted to be an admin at some point for SWGO, but that never happened. But it's still been great being a part of the community. Great leadership over the years.
