A liberal wants to use government to tell you how you can prosper and ensure you don't prosper too much.

A conservative wants to use government to tell you how you can have fun and ensure you don't have too much fun.

A libertarian just tells the government to [m'kay] off.

Good post Morgana. When I was younger and brainwashed, I believed a libertarian-isolationist government would be the best. Now I understand that there is no good government, as there is no good cancer. Government is controlling people by violence and coercion. Violence is always dishonest. Nobody has the right to be violent to another, or control another person.

I do not believe in government, but I do believe in community, and individuals.

If only there were some institution set in place by the people to punish those who break this rule...

that was the most brain-dead article i've ever read... especially this part...

This is why it’s a waste of time to try to convince a liberal of anything based on logic. You don’t “logic” someone out of a position that he didn’t use “logic” to come up with in the first place.

^this pretty much sums up the article, all you gotta do is replace 'liberal' with 'author'. I would say conservative, but i can't say they're all dumb as [poo] just because 'friends over at Townhall' happen to be.
