What’s your ‘mirror year’?

Discovered an interesting blog post in a History Today blog which discusses the idea of your 'mirror year', that is the year that is as long before your birth as this year is after it. For example, I'm 19, born in 1995, so my 'mirror year' is 1995 - 19 = 1976. Next year it'll be 1975 and so on.
It's an interesting way of putting your personal experience into historical perspective. After all, 1976 was the year Jimmy Carter was elected president, Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, and a certain film called “Star Wars” began filming in Tunisia.
