Anakin's skull is still inside it, so his ghost won't rest until it is buried with the ashes from the rest of his body. Luke shoulda shook it around a little more. Just saying.

I wouldn't want any Hayden reprisals either, but unfortunately, it's HIS face and poor acting that the 'masses' identify the part with. If they introduced another actor to do a ghost of Anakin, it would probably just confuse the audience.

One of the great ironies of star wars' casting, I think, is that if George Lucas had waited a few years for Jake Lloyd (Anakin in the Phantom menace) to grow up and kept him in the role, he wouldn't have needed to replace Sebastian Shaw's Anakin ghost with Hayden Christensen's in the special edition...

Yeah I was wrong... he said "My father has it"... not "had"... probably because Vader is now alive in the force, like Obi Wan. That's my theory.
