Posted: Sun Jan 10, 2016 4:37 amI read the book first. Finally saw the movie tonight. It was pretty good, and they seem to have handed off the 'hero baton' to the new characters. I still liked Empire Strikes back' the best. Glad I read the book only because it filled in a lot of blanks, but knowing what was coming next in the movie was the only downside.

Speaking of books; if you haven't read the 'Thrawn Trilogy' series by Timothy Zahn, you totally should. It takes place about 5 years after ROTJ...and it's the reason that I say books are better than films

OMG! I figured everyone that 'gave a damn', has seen it by now! Surely I'm right about that. Besides, This is hardly 'spoilery', as it is online in a google search, and I didnt give great details about the scene.
