Nice pick up WD. That is the 6 cylinder, right? Is that a 2010 model?

Thanks all, yes it passes muster, and it's a 5-speed standard shift, 2005 6 cyl 4.0 Premium all leather and metallic interior (low miles) (Wanted 6 cyl also for mileage). Metallic red paint and a flow Master fart-cannon muffler. Drove it 10 hours to see my mom in Ohio, and had to put ear plugs in for last 3 hours. Basically, I fell in love with the 1967 Mustang back in 1978 when I drove a soft top powder blue one in a July 4th parade for the Grand Marshal, and always wanted one since...even more than a Ferrari or Porsche. Wife and kids came first, but opportunity finally came. This version is back to the traditional 1960's style, but on Steroids (exactly what I wanted).. The newest model that just came out is unrecognizable to me as a mustang, and the only feature they managed to keep in the ballpark was, maybe, the tail lights.

Nice ride WD. You should post the pics with the plane.

I've always had Mustangs until a year ago. I finally had to give them up due to space, mileage and that it just wasn't fun anymore. People were constantly wanting to race and when I did feel like having some fun, rarely was there enough open road to do so. They're well made cars though and last a long time. I drove a '91 LX 5.0 until it had 175k miles on it. Never had a single major problem other than replacing the AC compressor. Of course I don't beat the hell out my stuff either. :innocent:

WD - I know in the GT's they "piped" engine noise into the cabin starting in 2010. The consensus was that the cars were too quiet. I'm not sure if they did that for the 6's or not, but I would check it out. I imagine the hardware was there and the previous owner could've hooked it up?

Imiam - hell yeah it passes muster!!! The V6's are faster now than the GT's that we grew up with!!! How about some pics of you on your bike?

Damn, one more edit here...WD, Google "Mustang sound tube". They have a delete kit and it could help with the noise level.

I've seen that car on here before. I always loved the Bullitt's. You should toss up some more pics like Imaim said.
