Why are you doing it with vector graphics? Or more specifically, what is it going to be used for?

Several reasons:
- I'm not experienced in drawing anymore (or other kinds of art).
- Been focusing on Vectoring for a while now (including part-time job).
- Friend requested me to make it.
- For fun.
- For practice (new Shading, texturing, 3-D effects etc. that I haven't tried yet).
- Star Wars!
- Quality does not deteriorate during size alterations.
- Re-usability for different scenarios.

Cheers

Another update, unfortunately the program crashed mid way and halted my progress for a while.
Here is one (uncompleted) track of the Sandcrawler; colors are just there to distinguish the parts better.
Are the 3-D effects decent/satisfactory? Is the entire perception of the track good, visually pleasing (minus the colors)?

Feedback is appreciated!

OK, so I got a bit further on the project and the Sandcrawler is about 75% done (not including tweaks & shadows.)

Feedback?
