I could be totally wrong, but Im pretty sure I smell some bull [poo]

Just going by what I have heard...and not even from first hand accounts. I will be the first to admit I do not know much about it other than I have tried it once and didn't care for it.

I know it happened just over 5 years ago and he was just let out of prison. ( I saw the court papers they send to victims about the person getting out)

True enough, but hair and urine tests are flawed in that a positive means only that the person has consumed marijuana at some point in the last 30-90 days, depending on their metabolism. They may not have even been high.
This is an interesting article from a reputable source. There are plenty more that say the same.
Its a lot of reading, but #4 sums it up pretty well.

4. Summary of effects of marijuana on driving performance.

Although cognitive studies suggest that cannabis use may lead to unsafe driving, experimental studies have suggested that it can have the opposite effect.
'The Force'...Of course! :punk:

Personally...I'd LOVE to see the NASCAR/INDY drivers smoke high-quality weed and do a Daytona 400 or Indy 500 while High on quality weed just to see the study results. It could be vey interesting. The wrecks may be even more facinating then those in the past....bring it. :gunsmilie:

Basically there's no reason why marijuana should be illegal.

Samonuh and I agree on something. What is this, the second time it's happened?

Where do I stand on legalization? I'm from Panama, where do you think I stand? :innocent: The truth is, I wouldn't eat if I didn't have the munchies. I'm just not into food, I eat once a day, I don't get hungry, no lie. :whistling:

I've built 69000 volt switch yards, wired the programmable logic controls on 13800 volt generators the size of a tractor trailer and worked in 8000 amp live switchgear while "high". I never caused an accident or an injury or a catastrophic power failure. My boss has actually told me to burn one on my break so I "step it up, we have to get this finished".

Just sayin....

We probably agree on most things when it comes to the extent of government in social issues.

BUMP! Vermont stopped arresting and ticketing citizens with personal amounts of "magic smoke". I will go on a limb here and predict legalization in all 50 states by 2020. Hopefully sooner. :whistling: I'm from the Midwest, and I love it here (winters suck, but I find ways of staying warm and occupied :innocent: ). Heard that Wisconsin struck down the first try to legalize Marijane, but it's going back on the floor soon. Can't wait to sit outside in my yard and spark one up without worry.

Sadly, I bet you it will be classified with tobacco, in regards to commercials. Can't remember the last time I've seen a smoking anything on a commercial. Before my time, but I saw The Flintstones, Fred in particular, smoking a cigarette in an old commercial. :oldman:
