Whenever I close Firefox and then get back in, I have to log back in to everything. What in the world do I do to fix that? Cookies are enabled. Help me!!

MD-
1. Open Firefox
2. At the very top, to the left of 'File', left click on the word 'Firefox'.
A drop down should open. Click on 'Preferences'.
Where it says 'Passwords', ensure 'Remember passwords for sites' is checked.
If already checked, then I don't know where to go from there, short of researching it on Google.
Hope it helped.
Regards,
Steve

By default (i think) Firefox deletes cookies and clears your history when you exit the browser.
Click "Tools" "Options" "Privacy"
Under Cookies there's a drop down asking how long you want to keep them, choose "until they expire"
Un-check the box that says "clear history when firefox closes"
Then make sure what WD-40 said is there - go to the "Security" tab and make sure "Remember Passwords for Sites" is checked.

Yeah, all of that is done. I guess this is from a recent update?

I did some Googling and this issue is everywhere. The problem seems to be a corrupted cookie file and is fixed by deleting the cookies.sqlite file.
Here are some posts on other sites where this fix has seemed to work.

...Also...for the benefit of others here are the steps:
1. Close Firefox.
2. Go to your profile folder: (»kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox)
3. Delete the files named cookies.txt (if it exists) and cookies.sqlite
Let me know if it worked, as I am in the cockpit of my plane flying to Texas. I'll try to remember to land instead of staying online when we get there (wink-wink airline pilots).
