#1, My game keeps crashing after 3 maps, what should I look for?...and how can I fix it.
#2, If my antivirus program quarantines malware, and I delete the antivirus...what happens to the infected files?

My guesses
#1, Maybe your memory is filling up??? Try closing background programs and lower video settings in-game.
#2, They will probably either be deleted or remain in the quarantine location.

Thanks Bryant, I did stop some services from running..so far so good, played w/o incidents. About my anti virus program, I want to get a different one and I was wondering if I do delete the program I have now, infected files would go back into the pot. Once again, thanks Bryant.

When you uninstall the antivirus it should ask what to do with quarantined files and delete should be an option

Thanks Haas. Now I have to ponder on which antivirus to download...any suggestions on the best free antivirus? I have Immunet 3.0. I do like the fact that it uses less resources (it's a cloud based program), but running a scan on my comp takes hours...I hate that. I had AVG before, but something about that program made my comp's CPU to max out (100% CPU usage), usually when I played Battlefront. Two maps then the damn game would get stuck on the loading of the next map. I had to Cntrl-Alt-Delete to get out of the game.

Best solution is 2 computers and no antivirus.
Use one for gaming and serious stuff, the other for smut and downloads. If/when the download box gets infected, just reformat.

That's exactly what I do. My desktop is for gaming while the laptops are for everything else. I seem to get malware from legit sites....I got one from an article on MSN, two yesterday from Commander Sparrows link to The Moscow Times article about Mr Trolol passing. Not blaming Sparrow at all, he most likely wasn't aware of that.

If you have windows then I suggest Microsoft Security Essentials.

Damn near the EXACT right answer.
Download VMware (or variant). Install another OS instance and take a backup. Use the VM for download and "stuff". Copy only files you want to keep out of VM and restore from backup each time you want to "private surf".

Why are you guys still downloading porn? Stream that [poo] for the love of god.
Also, SpyBot Search and Destroy is pretty good against spyware and malware and [poo], so you should grab that along with whatever other AV you get.
