64 players PER side. I see lag in the future.

I hope they worked out the lag issues. So are you all playing BFII at all anymore?

I saw an article elsewhere that makes that 64 number sound like an error in reporting. Another article I read said 32 players per side for a total of 64. Makes quite a bit of difference does it not?

I'd assume that's probably an error in reporting. Battlefield 4 in particular had massive server load issues early in its life, so I doubt DICE SE would increase player counts without a massive engine overhaul. SWBF is running on frostbite 3, so it's probably limited to 64 players, plus 2 in the "commander" role, and 4 spectators, assuming BF4-style server setup. Additionally, you have to figure in the new console network limitations, which are part of what made BF4 such a buggy mess, especially in regards to server/client update rate and packet loss.
