This being EA and the initial pricetag being over $50, I'm going to wait.
a) To make sure it isn't a complete flop and
b) To pay less money.

if the game doesn't some sort of hero assault with emphasis on positioning/timing i'll probably wait for a sale

I will be happy if it is more like BF1 and gets rid of space battles and super hero battles. Ships are good for flying around on large maps, so there is a place for them.

Pre-order? [m'kay] that
I have to see some concrete footage of the game, not some stupid "engine" footage. Also, you can tell that it's gonna be annoying, and rank with micro transactions like the Battlefield series, because on their main page it says "Pre-order (and spend 60$) to get this new battle map!" or something like that. I'm not going to be ripped off, I won't invest 60$ unless its incredibly convincing, especially without space battles and other features.

I gotta second this thinking....just saying. Too little reward for the $$$. I want to see what this has to offer first, see what bugs are encountered before committing, etc. I very likely will buy it for sure, but they only offer a 1 week advantage for pre-orders for a program that has yet to be 'proven' on the open market. I shall remain optimistic, and am hopeful that the spammers and a-holes that cause problems on the online gaming servers can be utterly destroyed via Admin RM.
