Wow. Those are a little high. I would think that most of the PC community doesn't have that.

Dunno, most of the community I believe has full time jobs and should have little issue with being able to afford a decent computer, with the exception of Uni students, and even some of them have funds for a good PC.

As for me, I doubt I'll see a game in the next 3-5 years I won't be able to run at 60FPS

Quite true, I didn't think of that. Was thinking about the premature Xbox community. My computer can run any games at 60fps, but I don't know about that in 5 years.

Games drive computer upgrades. A lot of the companies doing business crave the release of games that push the envelope because they feed off of each other. Luckily, many of us only needed minimal upgrades. All I needed was a graphics card. It could have been worse I suppose.

Well, I've played the two levels they offer for the Beta (Hoth and some other volcanic type location) and I must say, the graphics, effects, explosions, sound effects and the soldier avatars absolutely crush BF2. Walking around inside the base and outside, really feels life-like. Texture details are awesome. I can see why the system requirements are a bit high compared to BF2.

How long is the Beta supposed to be playable Steve? I'm just itching to get into it and learn some before the real game gets here.

The beta closes Monday.
And I am extremely pleased with the game. The effects, sounds, graphics and vehicles are fantastic. Many people say that there is imbalance with Walker Assault on Hoth, but there isn't. The weapons and upgrades (cards) are fun to use, and I can't wait for the full version. Beautiful air-combat and hero aspects. 10/10

Well, then that's it for me until the game release. I'm headed to Savannah to pick up a GV, and return Monday. Doubt hotel wifi can handle this game.
Played again earlier today, and I just can't get over how real it feels. Especially on hoth...knowing your about to die. :gun_bandana: Feels kinda spooky like you're on the real set.
Bodies flail everywhere!
