If I remember correctly, the log shows more than just the name of the user who spoke, so fake chats just show as a guy's name on the next space but no extra information. Was it an IP address that shows before each name?

What we can see or not in the logs is not important. What ers is we can tell who the troublemakers are. Fake chat, while funny sometimes, is one of the weakest flaws to exploit in this game.
