Matt,

Assuming you have web-admin access to the Teamspeak server, it *should* be possible to configure Teamspeak so that users can self-register. That makes it nice because you are less likely to have imposters....at least for people that are logged in as registered. And you aren't burdened with setting everyone up and sending them their login details. You would just want to make sure that registered users don't have any inappropriate privileges in that case....

I'll have to check into that. I am using the web interface to manage the server, but taking a quick look don't see any options to allow users to self register. I'll check in more depth later.

*edit: found it, players can now self register, then for our admins I can just go in and make you an admin. This way you can choose your own password ;)

To register on our TeamSpeak channel, right-click on your name and select "allow registration" then go to the "self" menu and select "register with server". Choose your username and password and you're good to go.

Glad you found it.... should lighten your load considerably.

They sure do make those settings cryptic enough don't they! Seems like the web interface could have at least had a short sentence that tried to describe what the parameter you are setting/changing does. Admittedly the parameter names are pretty good given that is all you have.....but why not give a little more verbose info.......!

I would be glad to provide a temporary chat server. You can find the MM vent info here.
[04:25] -SR-Mandalore: who pitches and who catches
[04:29] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: We'll do it in turns.
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: That sounds super fair
[04:30] -SR-Mandalore: Do you think other gay couples do that?
[04:30] (SWGO)SWINE*FLU: I reckon so.
