Abusive Admins

On 6/12/2013. On the SWGO Jedi Battle Server. I came across an admin who showed aggression when it came to Usernames and people. It seemed as if he had a 0.000001cm fuse ready to be ignited and blown up. As in the case of blowing up, it meant to be banned from the server. A player called "Rex_Bactapack" was the victim of this. Being an amiable person, he sometimes swore but always censored what he had said and this supposedly pissed the Admin off. So he threatened Rex that he would ban him from the server and do it to anyone else followed what he had done, which what Rex did was in truth, doing nothing wrong at all, and continued to harass others that made remarks about the stupid, pointless, incident. I abruptly stopped playing and came to this website to report what had happened because I felt as if I was censored as an SWBF2 player and had to give up the right to play happily. I will definitely pay the admins here to convince them to put this specific admin on probation and I am willing to offer 10 dollars to the donation box if one of the admins here contacts me to tell of what happened in the aftermath.

A specific admin, one with a wife, was abusing his powers and threatening others that he would ban them. It was as if his fuse was as short as 0.00000001 cm ready to explode. As in exploding, it meant to be banned for a whole week. Well that happened to a fellow played named - "Rex_Bactapack" - he was a normal amiable player enjoying his time on SWBF2 and tried to be friendly with the admin. Supposedly, the admin was pissed of at Rex's censored cusses, which to me are totally fine because it didn't mean the same thing and threatened to ban him (which he eventually did). Rex apologized quickly and asked for forgiveness and stopped. But the admin continued to accuse him of not respecting him so Rex got upset to the point where he really did swear. This bullying is not acceptable for anyone the face especially when they just want to play a good game of SWBF2. I left the game and quickly came the website to report the admin because in stead of enjoying the game. I felt suppressed and censored but the "Oh, So, Great" admin. I am willing to pay 10 dollars to the donation box to get this guy off the admin list and new ones that understand the players. I am awaiting your response.

well, I wasn't there, but let me tell you that most people in our servers have been playing since this game started many years ago... so they know the rules. On top of that, most rulebreakers are the same people who have been banned a thousand times before. Plus... I wouldn't be surprised if Rex is Rextra, who was banned last week for the same thing.

EDIT: also, players get kicked or banned if their names contain swearing or racism (or if a player is using the swgo tags without coming to the forums). Also, this isn't a service, and if you want to donate that's great, but that will not change the rules. I highly doubt an admin "abused" his powers... I can promise you, it is the most overused word in these forums by new members and old troublemakers alike. Nothing against you... just saying man.

Anyway...the 'wife' chat was by me. So you confused that...I made reference to having to jump off the game several times to help her with computer printer issues. Burzerker is the banning Admin, and has the authority to un-ban him. Rex needs to apologize here on the forums for setting him off. To your credit, you did warn Rex to settle down a couple times.

You are new here, so I will close with this...We will still warn, kick and ban for people deliberately avoiding the word filter for foul language that the auto-admin does not catch if we are watching the chat. Throwing an asterix in the 4-letter word does not mean it isn't foul language either, and that is what Rex did earlier in the chat. But he spelled it out clearly several times (that small kids who play here can read) with the added admin insult to boot, and that warranted the week long ban. He should have kept his mouth shut, and so should you. You are a guest on the SWGO Servers, so it is appropriate to behave accordingly.

I love how Mandy says the SWGO servers are "corrupt" after trying to bribe them with ten dollars and getting rebuffed. Wouldn't it be more corrupt if we took bribes to let trouble makers off of duly justified bans? Just saying.
